The runoff from melted snow mixed with rock salt can also find its way into groundwater, polluting drinking water sources. Pre-treatment with Anti-icing Solutions
Pre-treatment with anti-icing solutions is a proactive approach to managing snow and ice on roads, sidewalks, and other surfaces before a winter storm hits. This method involves applying special liquid solutions to surfaces prior to the onset of a snow or ice event.
Applying anti-icing solutions before a snowstorm can prevent snow and ice from bonding to the pavement, making it easier to remove them later. These solutions can be less harmful than traditional de-icing agents,a s there are eco-friendly and organic alternatives.
Note: Our de-icing agent works up to -20° and is significantly less corrosive than standard rock salt.

Minimal Environmental Impact: Anti-icing solutions are often formulated to be less harmful to the environment compared to traditional de-icing agents like rock salt. They can be biodegradable and less corrosive to infrastructure and vehicles.

Traditional De-Icing with Rock Salt or Brine Solutions
Some tasks still call for good old rock salt and traditional brines. In such cases, we learn towards the use of Magnesium Chloride, as a less corrosive alternative to Calcium Chloride, but both are effective when there are less environmental requirements.
Brine solutions are a combination of salt and water that has a freezing point lower than water. We prefer to utilize a calcium chloride solution as it is 90% less corrosive than the alternative mixtures.
